I wouldn&#39;t keep it in the sunlight though. A nice cool dark closet will do fine. Also, it doesn&#39;t have to be the very best of vodkas. Once you infuse the spirits it changes everything. But, if you want to spend top dollar on your infused spirits there are plenty of distillers who will be happy that you are buying their product. Finally, you absolutely want to make certain everything is under the alcohol, especially if you are doing this in a closet or basement. A good way to &quot;seal&quot; the top is taking some plastic wrap and laying it directly over the surface of the liquid before closing the lid. I can still remember them making the green salsa. The aroma was great. Just one of the great Tex-mex food made at Ninfa&#39;s. The aromas coming out of the kitchen were outstanding.
